360 meet the team

Andy Steele

Andy Steele

Andy trained at a mid-tier accountancy practice in Hull and spent his final 9 years there as a partner looking after a variety of start up businesses, owner managed SMEs and personal tax clients across all business sectors. Having lived in Hull all his life he has a real understanding of the local economy and, following the creation of 360 Chartered Accountants in February 2010, is now even better positioned to advise new businesses. As well as his wealth of experience Andy is both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Certified Accountant and a Responsible Individual authorised to perform audit work.

Andy considers himself to be a very hands on accountant who particularly enjoys working with businesses to develop accurate financial information systems.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, watching quality football and is also a keen Hull City fan!

Claire Day

Claire Day

Claire was the practice manager at a well known firm of Chartered Accountants in Hull before joining 360. She brings a wealth of accounts, audit and business tax experience with her and helps Andy with the day to day running of the practice. Claire has also worked in industry which gives her added insight into the problems encountered by SMEs.

After passing her latest ACCA exams recently Claire hopes to qualify in the near future.

On the rare occasions Claire isn’t studying she enjoys watching her son play football.

Alex Grundy

Alex Grundy

An accountancy graduate, Alex has many years of experience of working in, and managing, personal tax departments in both small and mid-tier accountancy practices in Hull and further afield. His role includes preparing self assessment tax returns for our clients, providing personal tax planning advice and looking after their tax affairs in general.

Alex is a motorsport enthusiast and also supports Hull City and Hull FC.

Paul Robinson

Andy Steele

Paul is an AAT qualified trainee accountant with three years in the accountancy profession. Despite his relative inexperience he is extremely proficient at bookkeeping, preparing VAT returns and assisting small businesses in general. His IT skills are also extremely useful given the current move towards on-line filing for accounts and tax.

Paul is also a trained fitness instructor, not that those skills are needed at 360!

Sophie Holmes

Sophie Holmes

The most recent addition to the team, Sophie joined as a trainee accountant in July 2011. Educated at South Hunsley School, she sat her A levels in the summer and is now studying towards her AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification.
