360 Chartered Accountants is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Hull.

Please note this is a directly employed position based at our Hull office. We are not looking to outsource or offshore this role and will not consider applications or approaches from outsourcing providers, recruitment agencies, or third-party service providers.
The successful candidate will be employed directly by 360 and will work predominantly from our Hull office, with the option to work from home one day per week if desired.
The role
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll look after a varied portfolio of work and take responsibility for assignments from start to finish. You’ll work independently while still having the support of our Managers and Assistant Managers when you need it.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and submitting year-end accounts
- Business and personal tax work
- VAT and CIS returns
- Preparing more complex management accounts
- Handling clients’ day-to-day queries and building strong client relationships
- Reviewing work completed by trainees
- Supporting and developing less experienced members of the team
- Working independently on accounts and business tax projects with minimal review points
What we’re looking for
You’ll:
- Be at least AAT Level 4 qualified, or hold an equivalent relevant accountancy qualification
- Have relevant experience working within an accountancy practice
- Be confident handling accounts and business tax work with minimal supervision
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Communicate confidently with clients and colleagues
- Be comfortable managing client relationships on a one-to-one basis
- Be able to review and support the work of trainees
- Have good time-management and organisational skills
- Be keen to continue learning, developing and progressing your career

Salary & package
£29,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus study support, commission/bonus opportunities and our wider employee benefits package.
