The directors of 360, Chartered Accountants have decided to step outside of their comfort zones and offer their catering and hospitality services to raise much needed funds for two local charities. Andy Steele, Leanne Steele and Sophie Holmes have each agreed to auction their services to one lucky winner who will have a meal for two to four people cooked in the comfort of their own home. The team will source the food and liquid refreshments, cook a three course meal and wait on the lucky winners who can relax, enjoy some wonderful cuisine and not worry about ordering a taxi at the end of the evening. The winners will just need to provide the cooking utensils and their kitchen which will be left exactly as it was found.
The proceeds will be split equally between The 360 Grassroots Foundation (a charity that helps financially disadvantaged children in HU1 to HU9 access grassroots sport) and The Hull and East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club.
Andy Steele (founder of 360) said ‘The idea was muted at our monthly marketing meeting and after some initial trepidation we decided we could pull it off. We’ve seen professional chefs do this sort of thing before so why can’t we?’ he laughed. ‘It’s a fun and unique way to raise funds for two amazing local charities and with Leanne’s culinary skills and Sophie’s front of house experience (albeit over ten years ago!) plus me running around doing as I’m told I think we can provide a very different ‘wow’ experience for the lucky winners’ he continued.
