Brainworks was born in 2017 with the goal to improve the brain health of the nation by producing healthy and nutritious bars. However, the brand’s journey to better brain health started way before then.
The story of Brainworks begins when founder, Paul Spence discovered that certain foods could help his brain perform better following a traumatic brain injury in 2012. After developing an interest in nutrition, Paul performed extensive research of his own, actively seeking out new ingredients and trying new combinations.
Spurred on by his own progress, he contacted a qualified nutritionist, Rich McWatt, and together they worked to create a powerful blend of natural ingredients, designed specifically to support brain health. Having developed a range of tastebud-tingling, brain-nourishing products together, they decided to go into business together.
