We’re hearing of a number of firms of accountants and bookkeepers across England that have effectively ceased trading temporarily as a result of Corona Virus. Whilst this is extremely sad, it does leave their clients in a difficult position as now, more than ever, they need to know how their business is performing, what their future cash flows are likely to be, and what support is available from the government.
Whilst all of our offices are currently closed, we are very much open for business and most definitely open for new business too. Here is a summary of how we are supporting our clients during the Covid-19 crisis:
We are committed to keeping ALL of our team fully employed and trained during the next few months
All of the team are working from home (we’ve been using virtual desktops and been almost paperless for many years)
We are using technology to keep in touch with each other and our clients (Video conferencing, screen sharing, cloud accounts etc)
We have a safe, ‘air locked’ zone for clients not yet in the cloud to drop off books and records
Our safe, secure client portal for exchanging and approving financial documents has been utilised by our clients for many years
The team is producing a daily update of the support available and posting this onto our blog and social media outlets
Our two Whats App Corona Virus groups (one for updates only, one for discussions, sharing tips etc) are proving extremely popular and useful
We are monitoring our LiveChat function until at least 8pm each evening
Although our phone lines are being diverted to voicemail, we are trying to return all calls the same day
We have received a number of Facebook and Google reviews on the back of the support we’ve been giving our clients during these challenging times – please take a look and if you’d like to chat about how we can help your business survive and then grow please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
